The Basic idea of VERVE was born when I found that most of the females in the house decorate their houses almost every day, without being paid & the getting any credits or appreciations. They have an inner capability to keep the house clean, organized, well maintained & decorated on regular basis & also on special occasions & festivals. Also, as these days, spaces are getting so very expensive, space planning has become very important for everyone. So in order cater the need of space management & proper planning, everyone’s urge for having beautiful homes & workplaces, we have developed this course, where not only females but also males, who are interested in art, design, creativity, construction, architecture etc can do this course along with their regular studies & can make themselves as a skilled designers in the field of Interiors & Furniture Design.

In India, about 65-70% women who take a career break fail to return to work, and a large number of women who are well educated & have potential to become a valuable part of the workforce do not even get a chance to begin their career. VERVE brings amazing women employment opportunities, in the form of internship jobs for women, to help them restart their career. With flexible working options like work from home options & part-time options, women can now manage both – their career and household responsibilities. Further, if women want to go back to the workplace, they can opt for office-based internships and make a gradual switch to professional life.

Message of Chairman

As I am writing this, my dream, hard work, vision of imparting best quality Interior design education in Rajasthan comparable with the best in the world, has borne fruit. The main objective of VERVE, right from its establishment is to develop practical & industrial oriented skill for each student in every field of Interior Designing course so that each Interior Designer who comes out from VERVE will make a distinct mark in their chosen Profession. To fulfill this objective, VERVE – Udaipur has already made Tie-ups with the number of reputed industries, organizations & Institutes for a mutual exchange of Knowledge, Technology & expertise.
However, the journey of Knowledge never ends.

Message of Head of Department

Gaurav Singhvi, a Multidisciplinary Person with Varied Interests, is a Member of IIID, since 2006, is an Advance Diploma Holder in Interior Design from IIFT- New Delhi & Advance Architectural Cadd from CADD, a Senior Design Consultant, Owner of The Design to Desire, Leading Interior Designing, Space Planning, Concept Developer & Vastu Consultancy Firm, Based in City of Lakes- Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.

As a Founder Director & Faculty of VERVE- The School of Design & Vastu, he teaches students all the in’s & out’s of the Interior Design. Gaurav is an expert in Interior & Furniture design. Before that He was associated with Various Other Institutes, Colleges & Universities like Zee Education, NIFD- New Delhi , INIFD – Delhi, Gurgaon, Udaipur, IIFT- Delhi, Rai University – Faridabad, Ashwariya College Sansthan, in Various Positions as Head of the Department, Professor, Regular & Visiting Faculty.

He is in the Consultancy Practice Since 1999. Some of his projects are Taj Lake Palace, Punjab National bank, Sony Ericsson, Fed-Ex, Shilpi Resort, Narayan Seva Sansthan, Bajaj 2 Wheeler Showroom, Amantra- Shilpi, R K Mall -OMG, Rex Studio, MG Dairy, Hotel Udai Niwas, Kadai Restaurant, many other in India , Australia & Thailand. His firm “THE DESIGN TO DESIRE”, has received an award for The “BEST INTERIOR DESIGNING FIRM” in the North Region for the year 2011, It is been awarded By MR. CHETAN BHAGAT, Prominent author, writer, and management guru, by BIG BRAND RESEARCH, in New Delhi. His other Major awards include “Best Vastu Ideas Award” given by Ms. Kiran Maheshwari, Member of Parliament from Udaipur in Jun 2004. & 1st Prize in Interior Design Exhibition “Vision 2000”, for designing a model of “ Shopping Arcade”, I.I.F.T. in May 1999.

Other than Interior Design & Architectural Consultant & Scientific Vastu Advisor, He is also a Motivational Speaker, Counsellor, Writer, Philatelist, Numismatist, Poet, Shyar, Author of 2 Books, Associated with Various Fashion & Ramp Shows as Model, Choreographer & Concept Dress Designer. His Articles get published in major Newspapers like Times of India, Rajasthan Patrika & Various Other Magazines. He is frequently called for Live Talk shows on All India Radio & other FM Radio Channels on Vastu & Interiors.
